Position Held: Quality assurance inspector (Full Time: November 2018 till Date).
Responsibilities:
Works under the agricultural and food department of the company and as such, focus mainly on testing, inspecting, verifying and certifying of food products.
Makes use of kitchen scale to measure the weight of food items like grains(eg; wheat, rice, soya beans, maize etc), ginger, garlic, cashew nut etc.
Makes use of moisture meter in checking the moisture content of agricultural products like: wheat, rice, soya beans, maize, guinea corn, ginger, garlic, cashew nut etc.
Send monthly report to my boss with the use of excel sheet concerning the products I received and checked on behalf of other companies we render service to. Like British American tobacco, flourmill Nigeria (mainly for Rom oil), Olam etc.
Undertake other administrative duties as assigned by my boss from time to time.
Accept or reject raw material products like: wheat, rice, soya beans, maize, ginger, garlic, cashew nut etc, that meet or do not meet the accepted quality standard of our company and as such, inform the company I am rendering service to on behalf of my company, to either buy or not, when the need arise
